Hair Extension Service Agreement & Client Consent

During and after the service I take photos and videos of the work — this is how I show my craft and grow my business.

• Photos and videos may be taken before, during and after the procedure.
• This includes close-ups of the strands and bonds, the back of the head, shots without the face, and shots that include my face.
• I allow this material to be used in the artist’s professional portfolio, social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), website, and promotional materials.
• The material may be kept and re-used for professional promotion without a time limit and without additional payment to me.
• My contact details, address and any personal information are never published.

I stand behind my work.

• The workmanship warranty is valid for 1 (one) month from the date of installation.
• If a strand slips out through my fault within this period, I will re-install it free of charge.
• Please contact me as soon as you notice a problem so it can be corrected quickly.
• The warranty covers the installation work only. It does not cover damage caused by improper home care, prohibited products, mechanical damage, colouring or chemical treatments performed after installation, or work done by another technician.

Extensions live or die by daily care. These rules are not optional.

• Use a special bristle brush WITHOUT balls on the tips of the bristles, so it does not catch the bonds.
• Never go to sleep with wet hair.
• Dry your hair immediately after washing.
• Brush your hair thoroughly several times a day — in the morning, during the day, and in the evening.
• Braid your hair for the night before sleeping.

If these rules are not followed and the hair arrives matted, an additional detangling fee is charged at removal.

• Do not apply styling products (mousse, foam, gel, sprays, oils) onto the bonds themselves.
• Do not apply conditioner or hair masks to the roots and the bond area — mid-lengths and ends only.
• Rinse products out thoroughly; never leave residue around the bonds.

If these rules are not followed, the bonds WILL slip. In that case no claims are accepted: this is not the artist’s fault and the warranty does not apply. I can clearly see how a client has cared for their extensions and will immediately recognise the cause.

• For the first 48 hours after installation, do not wash your hair and keep heat styling tools away from the bonds.
• A maintenance / move-up appointment is recommended every 2–3 months, depending on your natural hair growth.
• Wearing the extensions longer than the recommended term leads to matting at the roots and possible damage to your own hair, and voids the warranty.
• Removal must be performed by a professional. Never attempt to remove the bonds yourself.
• Protect your hair in chlorinated pools, salt water, saunas and steam rooms — these conditions weaken the bonds.

This is what I guarantee on my side of the chair.

• All brushes, combs, clips, sectioning tools and equipment are cleaned and disinfected before every client.
• Work surfaces and the tools station are sanitised between appointments.
• Single-use items are used where applicable and disposed of after each client.
• Only professional-grade materials are used for installation.

• I confirm I have disclosed any scalp condition, hair loss, allergy or sensitivity that may affect the service.
• I confirm I have disclosed recent chemical treatments (colouring, bleaching, perm, keratin) and any medication or treatment affecting hair growth or strength.
• I understand that results and longevity depend on the condition, density and structure of my natural hair.
• I understand extensions add weight and that professional aftercare is required to protect my own hair.

• A deposit is required to reserve the appointment and is non-refundable.
• Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule; the deposit can then be moved to a new date once.
• Arriving significantly late may shorten the service or require rebooking.
• Please arrive with clean, dry, product-free hair unless agreed otherwise.

• I have read this agreement in full, had the opportunity to ask questions, and I sign it voluntarily.
• I consent to being contacted by phone, SMS or messenger regarding my appointments and aftercare.
• A signed copy of this agreement is provided to me and kept on file by the artist.
